Explanation of hooke's law and definition of hook's law.

Explanation of Hooke's law: I have already discussed that when external load acting on a body, undergoes some defamation, is removed the body regains its original position. It has been found that, for giving section there is always a limiting  value of load upto and within which, the deformation totally disappear on the removal of load the stress corresponding to this load is called elastic constant.

Beyond the elastic limit, the material get into plastic state, and the deformation exit even after the removal of external load.

Hooke's law : states that when a material is loaded within elastic limit, the stress is directly proportional to thestrain.

Now we can understanding the definition of hook's law.
